The liquid rotates with the impeller and moves outward along the channel between the blades under the action of centrifugal force. The speed increases and the mechanical energy increases. The liquid leaves the impeller and enters the volute, the volute channel gradually expands, the fluid speed slows down, the liquid kinetic energy is converted into static pressure energy, the pressure increases continuously, and finally flows out of the volute tangentially through the conduit.
Check the valves, flange anchor bolts, couplings, thermometers, and pressure gauges on the pump inlet and outlet pipelines.
Check the operation of the pump, turn the gear first, listen for noise, and see if it is flexible.
Open the inlet valve, discharge the gas in the pump, fill the pump with the liquid to be delivered, and then close the outlet valve.
Fill the oil tank of the pump with lubricating oil or grease.
Give cooling water and turn on the pressure gauge to see if it is sensitive.

The pump can be started after the preparation is checked to be normal. After starting, pay attention to the ammeter, pump steering, pressure gauge, leakage, and other conditions, and then slowly open the outlet valve after everything is normal.

Check that the bearing temperature of the pump shall not be greater than 65 degrees and the motor temperature shall not be greater than 70 degrees.
The flow can be adjusted by the pump outlet valve.
Observe the fluctuation of the outlet pressure gauge and ammeter.
Check the operation, vibration, and leakage of the pump.
Check the supply of pump cooling water and the change of lubricating oil level.
For the pump with sealing oil, the sealing oil pressure shall be at least 0.05-0.1mpa higher than the pump outlet pressure.
For the long-term operation of the pump, the lubricating oil or grease should be replaced regularly to ensure that the pump works under good lubrication.
Slowly close the outlet valve.
Cut off the power supply and close the inlet valve and pressure gauge valve.
Hot oil pump, stop cooling water and sealing oil after the temperature of the pump decreases.
In winter, discharge the liquid in the stopped pump and take necessary anti-freezing measures.
